Born as Omahyra Mota Garcia on November 30, 1984 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, her career began when Boss Models discovered her at the age of six. Her mother made it clear to her that she would work as a model someday, and therefore constantly urged her to send application photos to model agencies.
