Amidst the constraints of the Covid period, Ian discovered a newfound passion for painting as a response to travel and filming restrictions. The prospect of being confined without a creative outlet was not an option for him.

"I yearned to break free from the constraints of realism in my photography art and explore the world of abstract painting. What captivates me about abstract art is the absence of rules; it's a realm where I can fully express myself. The act of painting brings me a sense of liberation and exhilaration.
